    I do the same, but I am riding on a dirt road where the cars can only go 15 miles an hour.
    I just get in the middle of the road and bring them to a halt.  That way I can communicate with them the need to be slow as they pass us.
    When riding on trails shared with bikes,  If I have a child along, or a green horse is in the group, I stand still blocking the trail with my horse.  All bikers get the Idea that they must come to a stop.
