Sounds like me when I was trying to get up the nerve for a 100. I
finally decided to quit thinking logically and just looked at the facts.
There were people doing it that I just KNEW weren't any better than I
was. If they could, I could. Period. I was right.
I told myself that I would try a 100 when a 50 was no longer all that
hard to me. It took a long time...and a better horse. It never got easy
on my first horse. I've told my daughter the same thing. When a 50 is
easy, we'll talk 100.
>>Maybe some of you think people

title.
I doubt you could ever find anyone at a ride who would intentionally try
to make you feel "unworthy". The only time people get that impression is
on-line when someone who most of us know should have been doing 50's a
long time ago stays down in the 25's and taunts us like a yappy dog. If
you got hit by a bullet it was that you got caught in the crossfire...not
that someone was shooting at you.
I know quite a few people and horses who don't need to move up. Your
pony is *huge* compared to Comet, the pony in the SE who was under 12
hands and completed 1000 miles of endurance wearing nothing but a
stirrupless bareback pad. He and his adult rider were *very* popular and
I don't think any of us in the top 10 of the fifty wanted to try to do
what she was doing!
