Does anyone
know of a place within a 1 -2 hours drive of El Paso that my husband and I could
rent horses and trail ride? We like to see the sights from horseback
instead of just driving around. As we are flying in from Ohio for a few
days (the weekend before New Years), I obviously cannot bring my mare along
with us. Would prefer something guided as we are not familiar with the
area.
Experience
wise, I have been riding for 30+ years and this year reached over 1000 miles of
distance competition miles (mostly 2 day CTR's) on my current mare, while my husband
only rides occasionally.
I am not
having any luck with Internet searches - all the places I find are at least 5
hours of driving.

Ohio - bored with going around in a covered arena, but the trails are iced over
and the river is too high to cross safely)
