[RC] lack of rides/ LD - RENESPONY
i just wanted to say that if there were more rides in my area i would go to
them.
if a local club puts on a 25 miler i would try to attend it.
maybe theses little "baby" rides aren't a big deal to the more experienced
people but they do a lot of things:
1. It gives people who want to try the sport out, a reasonable distance to
handle if they don't quite know what they are doing.
2. You are supporting a local group that shows a big interest in the sport,
by planning the event, and doing all the work to make it happen.
3. LD is a good training ground for me to see how I am doing, and how the
judge grades my horse.
4. If you are" failing" LD or getting pulled on 25's maybe your doing
something wrong, and should NOT be trying any 50's or 100s any time soon!
