Re: [RC] Lonesome Dove - heidi sowards
Likewise, the "mare" that escaped with the brumbies in the
first Man From Snowy River movie ended up being a gelding
when they finally got "her" back!! Do they think some of us
don't notice this stuff?
Also, my big pet peeve is switching horses. Obvious
switches are: a movie on Nikelodean that is a QH except for
the rearing/crazy horse scenes and then it's an arab. They
didn't even try to make the socks and blaze match! The old
John Wayne movie with the boys, there is a scene where they
are riding the bronc, it's a chestnut, no wait, its a bay,
nope, it's a chestnut again. My boyfriend said I was
ruining the movie by pointing out the change every time!
Or, the "wild" horses that have shoes glinting in the sun
when the band runs off!
Great horse movie - Black Beauty, but I bawl everytime, so
prefer to watch alone! Really pretty well done, just the
obvious painted on star bugged me!
