Re: [RC] horse clipper quest - Becky Hackworth

Check out e-bay. Clipmaster Clippers are there frequently. I still have a
pair from my FFA days and I bought them used then. I like to use a
"plucking" blade. It is a skip tooth, leaves more hair, like 3/8", which is
    nice here in the snow.

The key to clipper life is get the dirt off of the animal. I used my
clippers on my dairy heifers for 3 years without needing to get them
sharpened just by washing them first. For wash, use a bucket of kerosene.
Cheaper and works great. I have seen the big clippers on e-bay for $150
    easy.

    Any other clipper help, :-))

    Becky and the gang.
