I am in the market for horse clippers and am sure that there are plenty of you out there who can help me make a decision on which would be the best buy for my needs. My wooly mammoth doesn't really shed out until mid summer so last year I had someone body clip him in the Spring - just left the saddle "pad" long, and it worked out perfectly for both of us. Have decided to do it myself next season, hence, the quest.
Would like not to spend over $150.00 including blades, wash, etc. As light weight as possible, quiet, detachable blades and enough power to do a body clip easily. Two speed might also be nice.
Have been going through my piles of catalogs and there are just too many to choose from! Would really appreciate any advice you can give me...thanks!!
