Oh, yes it is!  I live here, one mile from the entrance.  Deer
hunting season ends Jan. 5th.  There are various hunting seasons
throughout the year.  The deer hunting season is the only one that
concerns me at all.  We personally never ride during the opening
week of deer hunting season here.
