Re: skeletal question
I would like to offer a piece of advice from my equine
chiropractor (when I can get him anyway) and also from my human one (not the
same guy)... I have always been told to take it easy right after an adjustment
as goofing off can cause your spine to pop right back out again. Equine
chiro told us the same....we walked the horse after but were told to try and
restrict any "horsing around"...LOL, couldn't resist that. Another
important aspect of chiro care is to follow up with more visits as regularly and
consistently as possible. I went 3 times a week for a year and it was the
best investment I ever made for myself (I had sciata and a back injury from a
job). Who would ever have dreamed I would be able to ride, let alone ride
50 miles. I noticed a great improvement for Jonathan (the horse who was
worked on) and wanted to continue regular treatments but unfortunately for me,
we can't get the guy to stick to regular appts. I would set up appts every
week if I could! I believe it works if you get a good one and can stick
with it. Good luck and hope to see you out there riding soon!
:)
