Barbara, you have identified the horns of the delima. But in reality as long as
each ride is sanctioned as a individual 50 mile ride, then it is a 50 mile. Even
on the multiday rides many days top 10's are quite fast - not your going out to
do all 3, 4 or 5 days to cover the miles.
No rider, or horse for that matter, has ever died because they had to go
through an extra vet check.
