Ridecamp: Re: [RC] Actors Who Can Ride

Come to think of it, the fellow who played Maurice on 'Northern Exposure',
Barry Corbin, rides reining horses in competition and wins.

I was told that's why he's in a cast and later using a walking stick for
most of one season; he was in a bad wreck on horseback.

He's seen riding horses in a few episodes, both english and western.

One of his co-stars, John Cullum (who played Holling), is frequently shown
riding with him on a nice buckskin.  Doesn't seem to be too sloppy in the
saddle either.

This is a great thread!

Maybe we should switch to 'Actors who can't ride' once we're through here.
