Ridecamp: RE: [RC] [RC] Competing Bareback

I guess I just thought it was against the rules. You don't see photos of 
endurance winners bareback very often. I am not sure why you would want to 
trot 50+ miles bareback, especially if your horse had a wither bone that was 
noticeable. 8^)

There is another photo in another old magazine of a 12 year old boy riding 
his 3/4 Arabian 52 miles in sub zero weather with 6 inches of snow and ice 
covered highways ub 6 and 3/4 hours. The photo has ice covering the horses 
long hairs.

These old magazines are so interesting.
