And if you care to come out with an open mind, I can likely show you as many
or more examples of where farmers and ranchers have worked WITH nature, and
in many cases have actually improved wildlife habitat, etc. When I was a
kid, our ranges used to be really devastated during drought years, but
thanks to proper management in the past 40 years, they now remain healthy,
with wildflowers in the spring, grasses properly utilized, thriving herds of
elk, deer, and antelope, and even some moose moving in.
