Hmmm....I know a lot of riders who would be VERY happy if that's all
their horses did! <grin> Personally, I don't think that's a big deal,
tho if he were mine, I would try to cure him of that over time by
"annoying" him with some "work" every time he did it. (Although if
you're running in the Top Ten, that's probably not the place to fix it!)
See there, you neglected your training duties...you should have fixed
this about 10 years ago! <grin> Actually, he's a pretty good guy...if
you don't want him, I'll take him off your hands?
Every horse is different. There are some that should never be kept in a
corral. However, I pick my horses for their disposition, and I train
intensely...and I use good judgement regarding where I put up my corral
and how. Have never had a problem...but, as you know, "shit
happens"...but it also happens with ANY method of restraint...none of
them are perfect.
