[RC] Wintec Pro Stock saddle-opinions - Jerry & Susan Milam
My boarder who has a very young quarter horse recently green broke, (the
horse not the boarder) started having increasingly more resistance when she
would mount and try to ride her horse. She even had resistance during
grooming sessions before she would mount.
This horse, Sammy, is a very laid back guy and was acting very out of
character so I decided to take a look at her saddle and sure enough, the
thing was pinching his withers and digging into his loin. Now we're in a
saddle hunt for this guy.
My boarder is a new rider as well and I'd like to get her into a close
contact feeling saddle with a good secure seat that will be fairly versatile
for her. I don't think showing is in her mind as a future goal with this
horse although he has very nice western pleasure gaits.
I've also been looking for another trail saddle for own my youngster and
thought the Wintec Pro Stock Saddle looked like a nice secure trail saddle
and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this saddle before I
try one out.
Thanks in advance!
Happy Tails,
Susan, Fly Bye & Dandy
