    I am knot challenged so this only works if my roommate or if Ron Waltenspiel is there.

    Tie the rope to the trailer tie, over the top of the trailer and then to the tree or whatever else you are tying to.  Tie it high.  Here comes the part I can't do.  Tie it with a truckers' knot........They come loose if you want them to and you can really cinch them down.  The lines just don't sag.....mb
