Re: [RC] [RC] [RC] [RC] Exempts private property, military lands and all plantlifefrom ES - Maureen A. Fager
Yep. In my area, we lost an important trail easement because it had been a
handshake deal for 20 years. Now the property is for sale and the easement
is lost. The lesson to me was--think "Who owns this land? Is this a
permanent easement (or whatever) or just a casual deal?" Perhaps thinking
ahead and finding out about ownership, easements agreements ect., could
prevent some trail loss. Always a struggle as you mentioned.
Cheers Again,
M

You must be forever vigilant.......Equestrians are constantly threatened by
loss of trail, be it development or conservation.........participate in
land
use decision whenever you can..........
