4.1.     
In order for a rider/horse to be qualified to 
participate in a Senior Championship, both rider and horse must have completed 
within 24 months of the closing date for the nominated entries of the 
event:
·          
An FEI Four Star ride of the same distance as 
the Championship as a combination
or
·          
Two FEI Three star CEI (140 - 160 km) in one 
day or over 2 days (80 km per day and over) one of which must have been as a 
combination, at a minimum speed of 12 kms per hour or finished in the top 50 % 
of finishers.
or
·          
The rider must have completed at least three 
FEI 3 star rides within the qualification period and the horse must have 
completed two FEI Three Star rides, at a minimum speed of 12 kms per hour or 
finished in the top 50 % of finishers.
4.2.     
If the rider/horse has not qualified as 
per 4.1 above, the rider/horse (not necessarily as a combination) must have 
completed at least a 120 km FEI Endurance Ride during the period as of the 
1st January during the two years prior to the Championship until the 
date of nominated entries for the Championship. For Junior and Young Rider 
Championships, the horse and rider must have completed at least three rides of a 
similar distance as the Championship within 24 months of the closing date for 
the nominated entries of the event one of which must have been as a combin! 
ation.
4.3.     
For other Four Star rides the horse and rider 
not necessarily as a combination must have completed three rides of a similar 
distance to the Four Star ride within 24 months of the closing date for the 
nominated entries of the event.
4.4.     
However, in exceptional cases, the Endurance 
Committee may accept different qualification standards.
