Ridecamp: [RC] hope with ringbone? anyone try shockwave therapy?

I'm told by some friends in the eventing world that "shockwave therapy" was
helpful with some problems their horses had.  I gave some thought to trying
it with Keepers and Jon (my Percheron and Shire).

Has anyone tried it?  I found two websites suggesting it might help with
Ringbone.

PS: To give scale to the picture of Keepers, I'm 6' 1.75" (in the morning
with my neck stretched as much as possible)
