The "idiot" that won that race is one of the best horse people, and smartest riders I know and has more successful miles under her belt at this point in time than most will ever have. Before you call someone an idiot you should look at their record and know who they are. Heather Bergantz Reynolds is one of our best in all respects. Statements like this just show a total lack of experience and knowledge. Many rides have been won in under 9 hrs. Much tougher rides than this one. And the same horses have had long careers. People that like to call people idiots should maybe look in the mirror!
