This is really kind of weird. The truck I drive that I posted about hauling in 5th geat is a '93 Dodge too. I have the Banks turbo and the B&D exhaust brake and my diesel people say 5th gear is just fine. I have a Featherlight 3 horse with LQ and my truck is a 3/4 ton and I have not had problems. I guess you just have to make up your own mind what to do....mb
