[RC] Sequestrum of bone - beth glover
Hi Ridecampers; My foal has had a kick injury , and now he has a sequestrum. I attached a definition I found, for anyone's information/ future knowledge. I wonder...has anyone had experiences with this situation? Thanks Beth
sequelae of osteomyelitis
- sequestrum
- necrotic bone, often denser than surroundings
- may be resorbed, discharged thru a sinus tract, or persist as a focus of continued infection
