We are trying to stay away from antobiotics as we understand this can
actually cause an immune system problem as far as it being harder to get
rid of next time. I wish our vet would have told us about the over the
counter cough medicine, it would have saved us some cash, but treating
10 all at once is adding up no matter what we use. I'm also worried
about the two mares we have in foal and if it (the cold or the
antihistimine) will affect the pregnancy.
Also, sorry about the double post, I keep getting the message bounced
back as undelivered.
