[RC] Endurance prospect? - RhndLev
I know a woman who is selling a half-Arabian Appaloosa gelding. He's seven
and I've seen him on the trails. He's a tremendous athlete and has good
conformation. His old owner used to just let him fly down the trail with
little or no training or control over the horse. The current owner has been
retraining him and working on "whoa" so the horse is much better than he was,
at least in a confined area. When he was worked in the open, he began crow
hopping when upset and then when the person riding him pushed him forward
(really pretty hard with the legs), the horse reared. He's seven and the
current owner only wants $800 for him due to the training issues. If anyone
wants a project horse, he's pretty cool and very cheap. I'm thinking that
he's toooooo much of a project for me because I already have two youngster to
work on. If anyone is interested, please let me know and I'll give you the
owner's name and number. He's in the Kansas City area.
