Our 3 year old filly is at Ohio State Vet Clinic
tonight, holding on to life. We found her down this afternoon in the pasture.
The vet aren't sure if it is WNV or botulism. Her symptoms don't add up to
either one.
She seemed a little brighter before we left her.
She had charmed all the vet tech students and had them all sitting around her
scratching her itchy places.
Hopefully, she has the same strength of will that
her big brother, Lucky, has. He's my hand-raised guy.
If anyone wants to know how to load a down horse,
you need a big tarp, some rope, a sheet of plywood, and a Jeep.
Please pray for our little girl.
