[RC] RC: WNV in WA - DESERTRYDR1
As an employee of a local health department, I see some of this stuff before
it goes out to the news media. Today an article came across my desk that
there was a crow found in Western WA that died of WNV. This comes a few
weeks after a raven in Eastern WA was found dead of WNV. The info said that
it is thought to be "widespread" in WA, and that other birds are in the
process of being tested. For all of us in the PNW, it's here, and the
recommendation is to vaccinate this fall. jeri
