Now you give us newer riders the shivers...Except for some trail riding , 10 lessons I saved up for when I was 11, an occasional jaunt on the friends pony. A short episode of a pasture owned horse of my brothers, I have only been riding 3 1/2 years. Guess I am a "lady -in -waiting" for my first "battle scars".(and I hope to stay; "a lady in waiting" for a looooooggggg time, .(Like maybe I could keep ducking to the end of the line). I did slip under when mounting a new saddle once, and Honey did that bolt and spin, saddle and I went sideways , but into sand. I few branches have stung me, but the really big . . Train at the end of the Tunnel, well it's still down the track, but you all make me hear it coming.. . . I embrace all my battle scars! I kind of figure if you have been riding
since you were two and don't have injuries, you are not REALLY riding.
Tiffany-currently nursing a banged up leg suffered while scanning the ground
for something I dropped and having my mare bash my other knee into a fence
post. I know, I deserve an award for that one.
