[RC] Blue Mountain Trot FILLING! - Jeff Brickson
The Blue Mountain Trot near Drehersville, PA is filling fast! If you told
me you are coming and have not yet paid, please call me immediately.
The mountain was BEAUTIFUL today for marking trail. There are some really
brightly colored leaves. The water level in the Little Schuylkill is up
from the rain. It is usually more like a creek than a river. I think I'll
wait a few days to wade in for pictures because it's obviously going to be
over my tall rubber riding boots in the deepest part! On the lower trails
there are occasional puddles -- no problem finding horse water! Even so,
there isn't much mud. The trail is as abrasive as ever. Bring your
emergency hoof protection.
Bring rump rug for when you stop moving; the breeze can be brisk up there,
though the sunshine is bright!
