Re: [RC] Lifetime stats online - Michael Maul
In response to:
I just checked mine and have found some errors. Who do I notify to get =
them fixed? I didn't see an email at the site, but it doesn't mean it =
wasn't there. . .

Email at some places on the the site has mmaul@xxxxxxxxx for questions.
There are easy things to change and hard things to change in the online
listing we put together for ride results, horse/rider history.
Easy to change - information after Dec 1995. If you rode w/o an aerc # -
just let the office know the ride, date, and placing with the proper aerc
numbers. Changing a placing or pull reason is more difficult. You have to get
the ride manager to notify the office of the change.
Very hard to change - information between 1984 and Dec. 1995. The information may be correct
in the office records but display incorrectly online. Russ and I spent a year getting
data out of the old program that the office used. We were never able to get the LD
results accurately enough so we just don't show any LD results in that time period.
And in some cases - we still have errors in the endurance records. We know that but it's a
very manual time consuming process for us to fix each one - so we just don't at this
point. Perhaps when we get time in the future - we will find a way to automate it.
If so - your request will be on the list with several dozen others.
If the errors are prior to dec 1995 - check with the office. If they are after Dec 1995 - let
me know and I can get them fixed. The only obvious error I see is a name mispelling for you at
Wolverine 50/100 on Eliksir 08/02/1997 50 miles 14th place time: 09:29:00
with Laurie Hilgard rather than Hilyard. This can be easily corrected.
Bottom line here is "easy" after Dec 1, 1995 - not likely prior to Dec, 1, 1995
