Walking on plasticized vinyl tends to remove the plasticizer from the vinyl.
This has always been a problem with Nomad. I remember early tests at (if I
remember correctly) Broken Arrow OK, where the mat got stiff in a couple of
weeks. The sand and dust on feet removed the plasitcizer. Better
plasticizers helped.
Use on a horses back, where absorbant dust is not being tracked over the
pad, will not remove plasticizer. The ones I used for many years died for
other reasons.
