Oh my, what goes around comes around. I
worked on the Nomad project in the 70's. Animal Care (a different
division) was selling it as a saddle pad, but they insisted on glueing a funky
scrim on one side. It sold well for awhile until the scrim started to come
off. Lots of people wrote to say that they wanted more but without the
scrim. Corporate America and NIH (not invented here) being what it is, it
went off the market.
I used it for many years, as I had sources of the
base material. When I bought my first horse, two Nomad saddle pads were
part of the deal!
