After $2500 , 170 Liters of IV fluid, meds, rectals, ultrasounds, a
peritoneal tap and 4 days of intensive care by an exceptional veterinary
staff at Pilchuck Vet. Hospital in Snoqualmie, Washington, my best red boy,
"Streeter", came home with his major bowel obstruction resolved and without
needing colic surgery!!!
Dr. Sarah Metcalf and Dr. Bill Brown, got him through at the ride and the
many excellent folks at the hospital did the same for him later.
You, my friends, got me though this stressful experience with your kind
words, offers of food and help getting my trailer loaded to go to the
hospital. I did learn a lot and would be glad to share this information if
anyone would like to e-mail me.
Thanks again to all involved. You all are the greatest !!!
