[RC] re: mane and tail rubbing - Bar JM Ranch
My mare rubs her mane and tail so badly that I usually
end up shaving her mane in the summer because half of
it is nearly bald! This year her usually natural
fetlock length tail is above her hock! I've noticed
that it always coincides with large gnat infestations.
I use permethrin based fly sprays but they don't seem
to help. Have you noticed unusual numbers of gnats
this year? Does anyone know of something for gnats?
