I hear that! Unfortunately, I was venting about the camping fees for
National and State forests. I understand that if we use private property,
there might be fees. I seem to recall that fees from last year were not
as much. IF the RM sets the fee (NOT AERC, then I won't gripe so much, as
I understand the costs).
It is POSSIBLE that I HAVE NO CLUE as to who sets the fees, how they are
set, etc. I also understand that the fees are set based on last years
figures of how many riders a certain ride had, and an estimate as to how
many they will have this year.
As my subject line suggested the FIRST TIME, I was venting. Next time I
will go as a guest. GEESH folks! Allow that someone MIGHT be frustrated
and not totally understanding of ALL the facts!
