Oh by the way, I forgot to mention that the mare I was riding at the Stormont ride in Ontario this weekend was the same mare I asked all of you for advice on - the sensitive young horse who had no brakes back in July. Well, I found them... :) She came such along way in the last few months. She doesn't bolt anymore if I touch her sides or flanks with my heels or calves or if a branch bumps her sides. And no blind dashes through the forest because the trail is too narrow and she is scared. Yahoo!! She just needed some patience and a little work. Sure her ground manners are not perfect yet but she has shown me that its only a matter of time before that will improve also. Just thought I'd add this because some people had e-mailed me wanting to know how things were going. So this is the update! :)
