Lucky thing that she had room too, because we heard that the
ranches in San Dimas- the next nearest place- evacuated a few
hundred horses to the fair grounds (Thank you God we didn't have to
evacuate horses through the county fair traffic!!!) The ranches in
Azusa were also evacuated. (We hope Melanie and Ed are
okay?) Almost every animal off of the hill was moved. When we were
done, we answered the phone. It was animal control telling us to
move our livestock! We also took our dogs to a neighbors about a
mile away.<<
Melanie and Ed are ok, their backyard was pretty burned though,
horses are fine.
(I ran into them on trail today).
Sorry about your trails, glad your neighborhood survived. Hope your
employer understood!
