Re: RC: Sponsor needed for Hallelujah

For once in my life I will have to agree with Karen :-). There are plenty of people out there who would make wonderful sponsors for your daughter. If she wants to do the 50, then there are plenty of SE riders who will be a Hallelujah who will be happy to help out and in who's hands the junior will be safe and have a wonderful ride.

Contact Lucy and let her help out.  I would trust my own kids with Lucy's judgement and I'm pretty dog gone picky.  Hopefully you find a sponsor.

After reading your letter, mabie one of you should drop down to the 25 with your daughter instead of sending her off with some stranger that you know nothing about. It will be safer for your daughter and her horse. These are the years your daughter will remember always, make it a good memory for her and you!

Hey, I've been that stranger on a number of occasions!  Most people who ride with kids already know this so I'm not telling anybody anything new, but generally speaking, most of the kids usually prefer to ride with somebody besides a parent.  Just don't ask them in front of their parents, they won't admit to it :>D.  The kids learn different things from different people, make new friends and become more responsible.  It's good for them to know that there really are no strangers, only friends they haven't met yet, at least on the trail.  (we're not talking the shopping mall!)
