    [RC] FEI - goearth

FEI is located in Switzerland, which is in Europe.  They probably have meetings that only the locals attend.  Perhaps, its time for the USA Representive to visit them and address the issues that seem to be taking them to a crisis.  The only WEC i know of that had a challenging trail was in Ft. Royal, Va. in 1988.  Otherwise they have been somewhat flat and allowing for more speed and less varied terrain and spectator friendly.  They also dropped the weight to allow more advantage to speed  This has not happened overnight, but thru years of lobbying this viewpoint.  When and who was the last American to entertain 'Speed Kills' to them?  The Vets in the USA are some of the best in the world and their viewpoints should be shared.  For a while i found FEI Fun.  Maybe because its a World Thing.  But the path of flat races and dying horses will get them nothing but animal rights activists after them because they even make a stink about chasing foxes, much less killing horses....  tom sites
