Hi Jeff
I like South Pacific's "I'm Only a Cockeyed Optimist."
Got me a Reserv Champ in Country English Pleasure when I was on a mare
belonging to a friend who had just weaned her the day before. She was
ready to blow, but when I started singing, she really relaxed and fell
into cadence to the rhythm. Turns out, the owner did the same thing (of
course, neither us spoke to each other about our ploy ahead of time)
when Kit rode her Show Hack--- different song--- same result. Of course,
several people wanted to know what we were talking to her about :-)
