Just my experience again, but I have ridden (in AERC rides) MANY horses I
did not own and train. I think it can be done successfully (look at my
record - 14 different horses -I only owned about 6 of those- 68 for 69 rides
completed) Would I lease a horse to someone I don't know?? NEVER, but I
would ride and care for someone's horse as if it were my own - no
exceptions.
