Ridecamp: [RC] Death Valley Encounter

I'm thinking of trying this ride this year -- I'd like to hear some
comments about it.  Also, if I go I'd like to lay over for a day or
two near Las Vegas on the way there, if there is somewhere I can park
the rig and keep Sanshra.
