I know I am late jumping in, but we are dealing with a huge forest fire
encroaching our neighborhoods, and are trying to get more than 500 equines
evacuated, but I rode during two pregnancies.
The first I rode up until the week before I was due. No jumping, no
prolonged galloping, but I really rode a ton. The next one was the same only
I had a much greener horse. When my balance got bad, I stopped. As long as
you are fit, used to riding and want to continue, you should be able to.
I had easy pregnancies, no spotting, no miscarriages, etc. My doctor did
give the OK.
Boy is it hard to haul your big ol body up in that saddle at the end. Also,
have plenty of water and snacks aboard to combat dehydration and fatigue.
