Well Ga. is in a drought. So I shouldn't complain. But , we have more mud than grass. And it means bathing everyone soooooon or the dreaded, rainrot, thrush, etc. will make a nasty apperance. They do get the stalls open, but I get plenty of poop to clean up in rain.Stalls are temporarily unbedded as we are working on a drainage problem, (like going into half the barn with 4' puddles in the stall). And I haven't got the guts to ride my new saddle in rain, even though I have treated it.Could also be the lightening, as I live on a ridge and those powerlines I ride are sort of like lightening rods. And sometimes Rascal just doesn't get the idea of slowing down for mud on these hills. Maybe we can swing Isildore towards N. Cal. cause it looks like it may hit TX. and La. then come NE my way (another week of rain) ?????I may just get out my abeeta, pad it up(little wide on him) and get between storms. In return I'll send you a new set of stirrups- with or without cages- in aluminum or nylon or any other material you desire... Thanks in advance!! Nikki
