Interesting thought. But it won't keep out the crazies. Just the unresourceful crazies. As long as the archives are up and running, anybody would still be able to post as Guest even with the restriction of putting a registered email address in.
If you want to control the Guest, you'll have to put in more restrictions than just putting in a registered email address. You'd have to go further and password the email address, too.
As a matter of fact, it would be a nice idea to password the Ridecamp Subscription Management Page anyway. Did you know I could go in and change any of your settings for Ridecamp at will? ;--)
