[RC] The Hallelujah Benefit Ride - Lucie Hancock
Everyone, concerning the Hallelujah Benefit Ride 25/50/75/100 on October
19:
We are getting the trails ready, and have water arranged for for the horses.
There is plenty of camping space, and it's going to be a fun ride. Bring
water for people.
I am going out Saturday to ride part of the trails with a group of friends.
Tricia Jackson is excited about this ride. Camden Hunt Country is her favorite
place to ride.As trail boss, she has planned so that each loop has water
1 mile from base camp, and there is water at the halfway point on each trail
as well as a few minor streams to cross. We are planning to hang 350 glowsticks
for the 75/100 mile riders after dark.
There will be a Saturday evening Barbeque that will be delicious, and we
have a ladies church group making desserts.
I am waiting for more entries to come in. We have sent out lots of flyers.Very
few entries have been returned. I would like to know, soon, how many vets
I will need, and if I have ordered enough supplies and port-a-johns. Last
ride there was a last minute scramble to secure extra vets and more of everything.
If you are coming, please let me know right away, so Ican make sure to have
enough of everything.
Thanks in advance,
Lucie Hancock, mgr.
