Ridecamp: [RC] How to travel with hay

I'd like to thank the large number of folks who took the time to share with me their experiences with traveling with hay. It was really interesting. Too bad some of them didn't also share it with Ride camp.  The consensus though is this. You can just about travel anywhere in our great country, if you get yourself certified weed free hay or pellets, and this can be found through your local Agriculture dept, for lists of dealers. It seems that sometimes you can travel without it, but there is inconsistency at border crossings, and it becomes a roulette kind of thing. If you don't want a hassle, and the possibility that they may make you discard your hay, you're better off with the certified stuff.
