[RC] Missing shoe -- what happened - C. Eyler
Decided, finally, that I didn't want to take off the other rear shoe.
Applied duct tape around the foot and then put on an EZ boot. Did about 18
miles on Monday -- we seemed to spend a fair amount of time either riding
through sucking mud or on pebble-graveled roads. Boot stayed rock solid,
and my gelding felt great.
Went out again this morning to trim trail for a few (maybe 5 or 6?) miles,
with some trotting and cantering as we skirted open fields. Again, he moved
really well.
Thanks to everyone for your suggestions. Had no idea that my question would
prompt such strong reactions.
Cindy
