RE: [RC] Wintec Pro Endurance stirrup rigging - Mike Sofen
I would have to agree with your comments Maureen - as much as I like my 2002
Pro Endurance (w/Cair panels), it puts my feet probably an inch too far
forward, and I usually get some lower back fatigue/pain.
However, I originally started endurance with a Big Horn and the stirrups
were WAY forward - much more forward than the Wintec - so much so that my
knees burned after a 50 mile ride. I haven't had any of that sensation with
the Wintec.
The Wintec 2002 Pro Endurance is built on the All Purpose saddle (large
panels, slightly forward stirrups). The Wintec Dressage saddle, even though
it has few D rings, has a very balanced seat. If someone knows how to move
the stirrups back, let us know!

Subject: Re: [RC] Wintec Pro Endurance stirrup rigging
Hi,
I found the stirrup rigging to be forward and kept my feet difficult to get
under me. This saddle made my lower back hurt. Perhaps the other poster
who suggested the Wintec Dressage saddle is on the right track for you, as I
found the Endurance Pro to definately not put my feet under me. My Big
Horn, and especially the Free & Easy saddle, were a huge improvement in this
area, and my back never hurts with the Free & Easy Saddle.
Happy Trails,
