One addition for Angie's Ridecamp Oath list that I use 
when posting to Ridecamp or any other online list:
 
If you write a post that contains any of the following:

"I probably shouldn't say this, but..."
"... I appologize for saying this..."
"... maybe I shouldn't have said that."
or any other line along that train of thought,

Then you should hit DELETE instead of SEND.
