Re: [RC] Portable Corrals - superpat

Why not take a look at Hi Tie or some other trailer tie device. I have just
purchased one but have not had it installed yet. All reports from people who
have them are positive so I am giving it a try.
Anyone out there got anything positive OR negative to say about them????
    Huh? Huh?

fence tape & charger) with my mare I woke up to find the fence down &
twisted & my mare on the other side of camp munching hay with another horse
(yes, he was nice enough to share). Luckily she was fine & I ended up tying
her to the trailer the rest of the night (which I don't really like to do...
I like for her to be able to rest during the night which she enjoys) &
didn't get much more sleep. I do train at home w/ the corral & have used
the corral numerous times up to that point. She had plenty of room & is a
very sensible mare. I'm still not sure what exactly happened that night for
her to take the fence down. Yes, I can guess that she might have rolled too
close & got hung up... but no one saw what happened. Long story short... I
have taken some time off & am now getting back into gear & would like to
travel with her in the near future. Thus the need to use the portable
corral again. This I'm a little iffy about. Has anyone else woken up to
find their horse loose & the fence down? Should I be brave & give it a try
again? I'm just worried about her getting loose in the woods (a lot of
camps are open to the woods) or most of all hurting herself with the fence
tape. I wish I had a rig to tote along the portable fencing (the metal
kind) like what John Lyons has to offer but I own a Brenderup (which I
    love).  Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. :}
